Welcome to Heartfulness Meditation
At the end of this session, you will be able to practice Heartfulness relaxation and meditation. You will also get access to the Lets Meditate app and mediate with a trainer in a remote location.
An Introduction to Heartfulness Meditation
"As our perspective changes so do our aspirations", says Daaji. In thisshort ten minute introductory module, Daaji lays the ground work for an experiential and practical approach to meditation.The introductionends with a video on "Why do you meditate?". This is agreat starter module to kick off this course for beginners as well as the experienced practitioners.
Guided relaxation and meditation - The Heartfulness way
In this class, Daaji will take you through a guided relaxation and meditation. This is a practical session that will help you experience the effects of meditating with Transmission. Keep a journal handy to make notes and observations of your experience.Tip: Please set aside 35 minutes for this session. Also stay away from phones and other distractions during this class.

Meditation
Understand meditation at a deeper level. Develop the techniques to observe in inner state and become more confident in your meditation practice.
Meditation is simple and natural
"Meditation is a transformative exercise to settle the mind in a very relaxed way", says Daaji. In fact, meditation is as natural to us as breathing!People often confuse meditation with concentration. In this class, Daaji offers some important clarifications and commentary on meditation. The concept of yogic transmission is also explained further in this lesson.
Guided session 2: Relaxation & Meditation
Daaji takes us through another practical session of guided relaxation and meditation. Have your journal handy for this session. Before starting the class, make a note of how you feel. At the end of the session observe the difference in your awareness and update your journal. This session will take about 35 minutes, so free up your schedule. Tip: Try to find a quiet spot, away from the distractions of phones and other noises.

Cleaning
Learn the most vital technique of cleaning. Gain a deeper understanding into how our habits and tendencies block inner progress. Experience simplicity and purity through cleaning.
Cleaning: Detox the complexities & impurities
This is perhaps one of the most important classes in this course.Daaji shares an interesting thought experiment in this lesson. Next time you are on a flight or a bus observe your thoughts. Lets say you are seated and you see your passengers streaming in. Observe your thoughts..."Oh! he looks angry", "That's a nice bag", "Grumpy face" and the list of judging others goes on...Can we get rid of the spectrum of likes and dislikes that imprison us?Can we see things as they are free from the burden of our past?Can we re-program our existence to live each moment with purity and simplicity?

Guided Session 3: Learn the Cleaning Technique
An excellent practical guided session on how to clean the system. In this class Daaji will teach you how to create purity and simplicity in the system. At the end of a long day, Cleaning will help you revitalize the system. For those of you who have demanding lifestyles and challenging work environments, this guided exercise will be an invaluable resource to refresh and rejuvenate. After the cleaning, you will be guided to meditate. At the end of the session, you will be able to clearly establish the potent effects of cleaning. Tip:Have your journal handy and stay away from the phone and other distractions.
Prayer
Learn in depth about the third element of Heartfulness practice : Prayerful introspection.
Introspection and transformation through prayer
"Active meditation makes you meditatively active"says Daaji. Every act of meditation creates a new state of consciousness within. How to preserve and expand this inner state? How to ensure that this beautiful state created within does not wither away in the daily routine? The first step is the awareness that my meditation creates something within that is valuable to me. It is something to that I must nurture, enliven and imbibe within. Daaji explains in with great simplicity how our habits and desires hinder our progress. Even when we are aware of the challenges we havewe are often helpless in accelerating change. This is where prayer helps in invoking the higher source within us. Embracing the many roles of a modern-day spiritual teacher, you may find Kamlesh Patel meditating with a group of followers in the sublime stillness of a Himalayan ashram, or teaching thousands of people to meditate at a bustling international conference in Lyon, France, or Silicon Valley.

Being the fourth spiritual guide in the Sahaj Marg system of Raja Yoga, he shares his knowledge of the practical aspects of meditation across a wide spectrum of society, including corporations, government offices, police academies, universities or with hundreds of students on a high school campus.

Many seekers come to meditate with him in his travels on small village roads in India to the great cities of the world – New York, Copenhagen, Paris, London, Minsk or Sydney and everything in between. He is comfortable with people of all ages, backgrounds and cultures.

His own background made him well-suited to address this diverse mix of humanity. He spent his childhood in a small village in Gujarat, India, fondly reminiscing about sleeping on the roof under the stars as a child, naturally growing up in tune with the cycles of Nature. After school, he graduated with a degree in Pharmacy in Ahmedabad and did his postgraduate studies in the United States, where he went on to own and manage twelve pharmacies in New York. He spent much of his adult life living in the US, before deciding to give his time fully to the international organization he now leads.  

During this time, his inclination towards spirituality was developing and led him to his first spiritual guide in 1976, Ram Chandra of Shahjahanpur, known fondly to many as Babuji. From that time, his spiritual and worldly pursuits developed in an integrated way, and he continues to excel in both.

Kamlesh has that rare and beautiful blend of eastern heart and western mind. This allows him to dive deep into the inner centre of existence, while maintaining a scientific approach to original research in the field of meditation, spirituality and human evolution.

His focus is on the practical: he would much prefer to sit with new seekers, giving them the actual experience of meditation with Yogic Transmission than lecturing about it. He is happiest in silence, where the real heart to heart communication and spiritual work can happen, yet his talks reflect the inspiration from the Source – the superconscious wellspring of universal knowledge. He is a prolific speaker, giving on average of 20 to 30 talks on meditation and spirituality every month.

He is increasingly in demand as a guest speaker on TV, radio and at international conferences, being a yogi with a profound vision for the future of humanity.  

As the guide for Heartfulness meditation worldwide, Kamlesh oversees meditation centres and ashrams in over 130 countries, and continues to guide the 13,000 certified trainers who are permitted to impart the evolutionary method of Yogic Transmission. In his travels he conducts meditation sessions for seekers young and old, and often spends special time with the youth, for whom he is an inspiring role model, reminding them that meditation techniques are simple, practical and very effective tools for designing our destiny and expanding our consciousness.   

He is affectionately known to many of his associates as Daaji.

Heartfulness Institute

Heartfulness Institute is a non-religious organization bringing Heartfulness Relaxation and Meditation techniques to people of all ages worldwide.
