This course is a natural follow up of HTML5 Coding Essentials and Good Practices. In this course, we continue the exploration of HTML5-based APIs, but also introduce some advanced features related to HTML5, such as Web components, advanced multimedia, audio for music and games, etc.
Like in the first course, you will learn by doing, study the interactive examples and have fun with proposed development projects. One of them will be to create an HTML5 game, so jump in and learn lots!

- More APIs, including Web Workers and Service Workers

Michel Buffa is a professor/researcher at University Côte d'Azur (France), staff member of the WIMMICS research group, a joint initiative of INRIA and the I3S Laboratories (CNRS).
Michel contributes to the development of the WebAudio research field and actively works with the W3C WebAudio Working Group. He has given extensive tutorials on HTML5 and WebAudio at several international conferences (e.g. The Web Conference 2018). With other researchers and developers, he co-created the WebAudio Plugin standard (aka VSTs for the Web). He also developed many states of the art WebAudio applications for the ANR WASABI research project, in particular a virtual pedalboard application for guitarists and tube guitar amp simulators.
