My life has taken many turns, as I had careers as a chemist, a computer game creator, a management consultant, a restaurant owner, a gift shop CEO, and a software developer. But through all of those lives, music always played a key aspect to my life.
As a child, I studied classical piano, and won local competitions two years in a row during high school. The award was free tuition for summer semesters at the Carnegie Mellon University Music Department. Through high school and college, I played bass guitar in a jazz rock band, Sanctuary.
In fact, playing 8 gigs a week, the band helped to pay my way through college.
Over the years, I continued to play music, and compose pieces, simply for fun. Once music gets into your system, it is forever… and that’s a great thing.
Learning never ends. As I continue to delve deeper into aspects of music, including ongoing Cubase study, I want to share the information, and love of music, with all of you.
